Recovery

I spent the last two days recovering from Christmas, basically all I have done is eat, sleep and clean. It’s amazing how hard on you the holidays can be, but it was tons of fun to and I am sad its over. It goes much to fast and it seems like the recovery takes twice as long. My son and I have dubbed this year as Extreme Christmas, aside from my brother and I buying our parents a 32″ LCD television I also bought my son a Canon A650IS camera, and my daughter’s big gift, a limited edition Nintendo DS with all the accessories and several games. So his question to me was “what are you going to do next year to top this year, buy everyone a yacht?” No I don’t think so, but I do think having an extreme Christmas once, if even just for the memories doesn’t hurt and everyone had a great time. I myself received some amazing gifts, I got the Harmony remote for Xbox 360 I really wanted and I also was given the DVD burner VCR combo I have been needing to finish transferring years of my families home movies. And many other wonderful gifts including the new Assassin’s Creed for 360 that I may be doing a review on in the near future. All in all it was an awesome time not just the gifts but the whole thing totally lived up to all I had said it would be, good food, good people, great time! And in a few days I hopefully will be back to my old self and fully recovered.
