Happy New Year

Yes I am a day late on my well wishing, but thats just me. I spent my New Years Day laying around playing lego’s with my daughter. Not a bad way to spend the day in my opinion. One of the most disheartening things about the New Year is the kids going back to school. I guess thats when it really hits me that the holidays have come to an end. I was going to start un-decorating my house yesterday but decided to leave it for today because I just wanted to spend some time with my little girl. Seems like she has been on vacation for a week and a half and I have been to busy to really do anything with her and that makes me sad. So I spent most of the day just enjoying her company. Today I have to work but she still has this last day off so I will probably not get much done. I hate the feeling of time slipping away, every time I look at her I swear she is bigger and older, and all to soon she will have no interest in hanging out with me. Well this little post took a turn for the worse, not exactly how I meant for this to go. *sighs* Oh well I am sure I am not the only one to get down this time of year, we all have our reasons mine is small blond and cute as a button and I hate to see her go tomorrow , but really I will get over it and things could be a lot worse. I have it really good actually and plan to spend a little time counting my blessings that always cheers me up! Have a great New Year everyone!!!
