Morpheus’ Gift

My cat Morpheus was busy making a Christmas gift for me and it finally arrived Saturday morning. What happened was my little Microsoft went into heat a couple days before Christmas, I did my best to keep them separated but on Christmas Eve we go out of town, so Morpheus got busy making me a gift. Saturday morning Microsoft gave birth to five kittens. (Morpheus never does anything in a small way!) There is one cream colored, two gray striped (like momma), one is black with some spots of other color, (like papa) and last but not least an orange striped one. I have never seen such a variety of colors before in a single litter of kittens, except for the two grays they don’t even look related, but they all seem healthy and are very cute. What Morpheus doesn’t know, I have a little gift for him also, I have just been waiting for his health to improve so we could make a little visit to the vet. I guess that may put an end to our gift exchanges, or maybe he will just have to be more creative in the future.
