I’ll Buy The Gas,You Buy The Food

I don’t know if you have seen this commercial but it’s pretty hilarious, its a MPG thing about one of the new cars out there, I can’t even recall which one, but the part that cracks me up is that the poor guy buying the food is constantly buying it and of course because its such an efficient car the guy buying gas hardly buys any at all. What keeps bringing me back to the thought of this commercial is its kind of become a running joke between my son and I. Why? Well we have decided to take a road trip in October, see he has a wedding to attend in New Mexico and I have always said I would travel and have never really had the chance.

I am very excited about this trip because I get to go to one place I swore I would see some day, Las Vegas baby! I am not a big gambler or anything, never really do it at all but I have seen so many movies set there and watched shows on the building of many of the casinos and I love roller coasters, and I have to at least try to ride the one on top of the building. Another great thing is the Albuquerque International Balloon Festival is going on the same weekend we will be there, I have seen pictures and it looks stunning.

I was going to call this post Blogging For Vacation because since getting a rough estimate of how much this little trip was going to cost I have been making a huge effort to get a Pay Per Post every day, I figure it can’t hurt to save what I can and try to earn a few hundred by blogging, its not how I intended to do things but I really want this vacation so if everyone including me just thinks of them as commercial breaks it won’t seem so bad, and I will continue my blogging for vacation-a-thon.
