Welcome Spring
March 20th being the first day of Spring I wanted to welcome it in for everyone with this lovely poem I found and some photo’s I took today of the beautiful season of Spring we have here in Minnesota.
Spring by Robert McCracken
Today is the day when bold kites fly,
When cumulus clouds roar across the sky.
When robins return, when children cheer,
When light rain beckons spring to appear.
Today is the day when daffodils bloom,
Which children pick to fill the room,
Today is the day when grasses green,
When leaves burst forth for spring to be seen.

I think I am going to work on a poem just for Minnesota, something entitled “Spring, where the hell are you?”

There are only two seasons in Minnesota, Heating and Air conditioning. They break down into, cold and really cold, or woodticks and biting, stinging things.
