It’s Cold Here, All The Time

I used to work at a company taking catalog orders, and a lot of the calls I would take came from the south, and right off the bat they would catch my Minnesota accent. (I do not sound like the people from the movie Fargo!) And regardless of what time of year it was they would always say the same thing “So is it cold up there?” it could be 95 degrees and humid August weather and I swear someone would ask it, I mean really it’s Minnesota not the Arctic circle.

After a while I just got fed up and started saying ” Yep, it’s freezing out there.” well this year looks like the jokes on me, its April 14th and theres still at least 3 inches of snow out there from our latest blast. When I saw this site offering free Pashminas I flipped, I mean thats only the most luxurious type of scarf in the world! They are usually silk or cashmere and they are real wide so they can wrap around your shoulders like a shawl, I have never personally owned one, Walmart doesn’t carry these beauty’s and I just don’t buy myself stuff like that, but I would love to have one.
