Close The Closet Door! I’m Trying To Watch Idol In Here

All right I am finally going to come out of the closet and come clean, I am a closet American Idol watcher. I really don’t know how it happened, we never watched it past the hilarious auditions before, and we always were proud to say we were not one of those ‘people’ who knew the names and stats of every singer from every season. But somehow as the auditions ended I found myself secretly setting up my DVR to record first just one episode, then another and next thing I know I have a season pass.

Any time a family member would ask about it on the recordings list I would play it off and say “Oh that must of been a mistake, I was trying to record { name of any other show} I must have goofed it up.” But now they know, now everyone knows,…and you know what? I feel better, I can finally say how completely blown away I am that Michael Johns was voted off last week, I mean come on! Just look at him, and he could sing! And I am now free to say if Carly Smithson gets voted off I am probably done watching it because I only liked her, Michael, and Amanda, who was cool but had really only one flavor.

So there now everyone knows my dirty little secret, and now I am prepared for the barrage of crap I am sure to get about this, thats okay though, I am done being ashamed, if you need me I will be here staring at my Michael Johns photo.
