And Its Name Is Gordon

My daughter cleaned her room yesterday, now this is a big deal for any mother of an eight year old because its something that just doesn’t happen all on its own, usually threats are involved. Yesterday I think it was the fact that she had even started to say “I know Mom, its a pig sty, you don’t have to say it.” So I being the proud mother of the kid that cleaned her room I told her I would go up and vacuum it for her while she sat cuddled in the big chair downstairs with her Siamese kitten Nim.

At the top of the steps I see three sweet innocent kittens napping.

Hmmm, I wonder aloud, where is the other little Siamese?
Then I enter my daughters room.

The formerly clean room is now littered with the remains of the one Easter basket that my daughter had condensed all her candy into.

I can’t believe those sweet sleeping little kittens did this, I was just up here how did they do this then run to the hall and go to sleep?

This is Gordon, the Evil alter ego of the Siamese my daughter intends to keep. (He’s so cool!) *laughs*

Needless to say my daughter is not very fond of Gordon, but I really like him, he’s got personality, even if he is a little wicked and he bites you every time you try to pet him, he’s just expressing his individuality.
