You Can’t Scare Me

It’s true, I wish it weren’t but I am a die hard horror fanatic, have been since I was a kid and I am just not scared. I play the creepiest games, I watch all the horror movies, right now I am on the second series of the After Dark Horrorfest films and I like to watch them alone in the dark on my big screen with the surround sound cranked. That way you get every creak and shuffle, it sounds like whatever is on the screen is in the same room, I love it! I read almost exclusively horror, Stephen King, Clive Barker, a little Koontz, and some Anne Rice. I really wish I could get scared but its like I have built up an immunity, I keep chasing the scare, its like a rush and I want to feel it again but know matter what I do it gets harder and harder to scare me.

But like I said I am always chasing the scare so when the latest horror movie comes out I am hoping it will be the ‘one’. Like 30 Days of Night, and the remake of Texas Chainsaw Massacre, couldn’t wait to see those, and they were great, I love them but not that scary. Anywho what I am gettin’ to is there is a new movie coming out on May 9th, Frontier(s) , but only in select theaters and then it releases on DVD on May 13th, why you may ask…….its unrated and it was originally scheduled to be one of the 2007 After Dark Horrorfest movies but it was decided it would get it’s own release. I watched the Trailer and it looks awesome. It is apparently about an Inn and neo-Nazi cannibals…hmmm…sounds interesting.

The trailer site is pretty intense they set it up so you can move around and make decisions about seeing more clips or not, I do want to say though that it is very mature stuff so please don’t visit the site with little kids in the room.
