Roses, Rings, Happy Mothers, Robotic Things

For some reason I have the urge to say “These are the things little girls are made of.” weird I know, also I was meaning to do a Mothers Day post but I don’t do sick very well….?…Point is I am more than a day late and a lot more than a dollar short so lets just move on to the aftermath shall we? My mothers Birthday lands on the same day as my daughters rehearsal and dance recital this coming weekend, I decided we would just have everything this last weekend when we weren’t busy.

She had a great time, Chad and my Dad got her this toaster/rotisserie/convection oven thingy, (its really sweet, does everything, except vacuum!) thats where Markus and I come in, we got my mom a Roomba, yep with the remote, self charging base station, the works. And I think she really likes it, moms a tough one she will say she likes everything, but Markus and I are not fooled…we see the remotes…the lack of pottery,…Sorry I digress, those are stories for other days besides my mom reads this. Love you mom!

Alright so we kicked my mom into the twenty first century with her own robotic vacuum, I also gave her a little mad/angry money (inside joke) and Markus got her some lovely chair cushions and Katrein got her a wind chime and blah, blah, blah …okay you know enough…..you can see some of the photos in my Flickr if you feel the need.

My Mothers Day was nice too, my son bought me a rose and some sandwich bags (also inside joke) and my daughter bought me a huge mom balloon and an opal and diamond ring,…. she is independently wealthy. (theres the outside joke)

All and all it was a fabulous weekend I think……. I was pretty medicated….Aw well theres always next year.
