Warriors Don’t Wear Tights

Whats that saying, something like what a difference a week makes? Well something like that, time has been a dizzying thing lately, with my mother in the hospital and a house on my mind and the impending trip that I am feeling less than ready for, excited just not prepared. Everything is starting to fall into the correct niches, yesterday we found out we got the house ( I know I’m still giddy!) my mother SHOULD be home tomorrow, I am so excited to have her home, feels like she has been a million miles away and even though I can call her like always, every morning, it’s just not the same, she is not where she should be and comfortable and there’s always that underlying fear that well she is in a hospital, something could happen and I may not be there.

In amongst all this chaos my daughter Katrein started school, I wanted to do a whole going back to school thing for her but it just fell to the wayside.

I do want to say however that I am the luckiest mommy ever, I have never known a child that could spend every day after school and all weekend running to the hospital and her grandmas house getting things done and just visiting and all through it she was more patient than I have ever seen her, and helpful and quiet, not bugging me for attention or being bored and unruly. God truly blessed me with a wonderful little girl who just knows there is a time for pestering and a time to let momma tend to things, I am so proud of her. And Katrein in case you read this your right, warriors don’t wear tights!
